THE ANTICIPATED KINGDOM OF GOD

The establishment of the kingdom of Christ on earth is the very goal of O.T prophecy (through David 2 Chronicles 13:5), but the epistles of Paul explain how the prophetic program was interrupted by grace and particularly grace Dispensation for that matter.
Let us consider briefly the subject of the Messianic Kingdom

1.     The kingdom was promised in the O.T. Jeremiah 23:5

2.     It was proclaimed at hand during our Lords earthly Ministry. Matt 4:17. The message of the kingdom

3.     It was offered at Pentecost after the death and resurrection of Christ. Acts 3:19-21.

4.     It was rejected as the as the book of Acts shows. Acts 7:54-8:3; 28:25-28.

5.     It was postponed and is being held in abeyance until a future time (after tribulation period aka Jacobs trouble).

6.     When our Lord return to judge and reign, the kingdom will be established on earth. Rom 11:26.

7.     Then for the first time since the fall of man, this world will become a scene of true.
a.     Peace
b.     Prosperity
c.      Blessing
8.     The sermon on the mountain will be experienced. Historically demonstrated, man due to his nature of depravity, he has never practiced sermon on the mountain and the same applies to the Ten Commandments.

9.     This will only take place when the Holy Spirit takes Control and cause him to do so during that time of the kingdom.
Thus the Lord promised in Ezekiel 36:27, 28 (read)

The kingdom would produce a way of life that would bring peace and prosperity and blessing to all mankind.
