IT IS NOT WHAT YOU HAVE; IT'S WHAT YOU DO WITH WHAT YOU HAVE:

By John Mason

Few dreams come true by themselves. The test of a person lies in action. No one ever stumbled onto something big while sitting down. Thomas Edison said it best, "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overall and looks like work".

Even a mosquito doesn't get a slap on the back until he starts to work. A famous anonymous poem states, "Sitting still and wishing makes no person great, the good Lord sends the fishing, but you must dig the bait. "
Nothing is learned while you talk. Words without actions are the assassins of dreams. The smallest good deed produces more than the greatest intention.

History is made whenever you take the right action. Action is the proper fruit of knowledge. You earn respect only by action; inaction earns disrespect.

You'll find life an empty dream if you put nothing into it. Every time one person expresses an idea, he finds ten others who thought of it before-but took no action. Idea times nothing equals nothing. It takes work.

The longer you only talk about an idea, the less likely you are to actually do it. One way to wear out a friendship is to continually talk about your "BIG" idea. It's time to put feet to your dreams!
